Born does not disappoint and stays true to the story line. Part 9 adds a few twists to the character set. Sometimes it becomes a challenge to know which characters (good guys or bad guys) you are reading about then he manages to bring you back on the path. I read this one way to fast. Maybe the books are getting shorter or maybe I have increased my read rate. Now waiting for book Part 10.Product details

I have enjoyed these books so much. I sit down and pick it up and can put down till I finish . I just hope I could this group with me when it all so down the drain.
Great series, can't wait to read the next story.
All the books were way more surprizing, entertaining and fun than I ever thought they would be. Enjoy
Good character interaction good story line some parts are a little tedious with multiple introductions or minuscule detail that is unrelated to the story. A very good series of books . I will buy the next one in the series.
For me the story ran off the rails with the addition of serial killers finding fun in picking up girls and doing things I will not mention before killing them. Main theme of the story is good. Older folks in RVs running and fighting an invading army. Serial killers not so much.
Okay, I know I said I wasn't going to buy this series any more. What can I say I'm hooked. I actually love this story line. Yes I am an old fart. I like this because it is different. Yeah for us oldies but goodies. It is entertaining. Since this is a series no one will pay attention to this review.its the first one that counts. If you are reading this you are already reading this story. Enjoy I am. Therefore you are.
Once again, Boren takes us on a rollercoaster of a story, or really several stories running at the same time. The Scotty and Howard part is tough to read as they are totally useless human beings. I like the way the story has built the characters over the first eight books. I hope that foundation of the story is nothing that could ever happen. It's too difficult to imagine.
